Corder Manufacturing is a fourth generation Sheet Metal Fabrication and Plate Fabrication Company. Jules H. Corder Jr. founded Corder Iron Works in 1938 on Taylor St in Dallas, Texas. After just two years of growth he needed more floor space and moved the Company to a new Facility on W. Davis Street. He operated out of this location for the next 1 ½ years. Corder Iron works was having great success in Custom Iron Gates, Hand Rails, Stairs, Tables, and other custom black smith work. However, Jules H. Corder Jr. background in metal workings; lead to him being called by the U.S. Military to oversee production of a Facility producing the Gas Bomb for WWII. So, the business was put on hold while he served his county. After the War, Jules H. Corder Jr. resumed operations and moved the Corder Iron Works to its final facility at 10421 Hawn freeway, Dallas, Texas. In the new facility he wanted to continue black smith work as well as add the modern mass production technologies he had been working with during the war. Therefore, He began the Fabrication and Manufacturing side of the business with his Son Jules H. Corder III. With their drive and determination and knowledge of the Metal fabrication and Manufacturing business they where able to obtain highly skilled employees to operate the Equipment which allowed the Company to expand beyond their expectations. In 1964, Jules H. Corder Jr. and Jules H. Corder III decided to change the name to Corder Manufacturing as the company had transformed into more of the Manufacturing and Fabrication Company. Today, Corder Manufacturing and has over a 20,000 square foot Facility at 10421 Hawn Freeway, Dallas, Texas. The Company has become one of the most sought after Forming and Shearing facilities in the Southwest. We are the home of the Cincinnati 1250 Ton X 24’ Press Brake. We also have one of the best Cutting Facilities in the southwest. With Laser, , and Plasma cutting capacities we are ready to handle your metal Fabrication and Manufacturing cutting needs. In 2004, Jules H. Corder IV was named as the President of Corder Manufacturing. He said, “I will continue to serve our existing customers and they will receive the same high quality parts and Fabrication they have come to expect. I will also create a plan to expand upon what has been handed off to me. I know it’s a big responsibility and I look forward to it” We are always looking for new Metal Fabrication and Sheet Metal Manufacturing technologies to make to production more efficient to meet our customer’s needs. Corder Manufacturing will continue to acquire new equipment and technologies in the future to produce precision metal parts and fabrications for our customers.
